I have hyperacusis, a malady that makes sounds seem louder and sometimes painful. I live in a noisy city. So I wear these on the street using the noise cancellation function to help my ears. I bought these to replace a worn out pair. There is a newer version that Bose makes but I don’t like that it covers the whole ear as I like to wear earrings. So I can’t comment on the sound quality this headset provides, only the noise cancellation aspect, which I am very satisfied with the sound cancellation results.
