The Springdale Country Natural Oak Plank from Bruce is made with northern white oak face veneers, chosen to provide a rich, authentic, natural country visual with a range of color variation throughout the floor and an emphasis on darker heartwood color tones. Unlike many inexpensive engineered hardwood floors that use extremely thin face veneers or HDF or fiberboard core materials, Springdale is made with three layers of 1/8 in. thick solid oak. That provides an exceptionally stable structure and a thick face layer for decades of durability. It is finished with a multi-step, factory-applied aluminum oxide urethane finish, which is highly resistant to wear. As with all engineered hardwood floors made by Bruce, this product is CARB II certified.
