I bought this to go with my new set from Walmart that was $39.99. I figured we could use a big pot for soup or broth or stews. We have never had one this big. The one thing I do not like about it is the lid. Like one reviewer said it is a bit unstable. I would rather have either a heavier lid or one that sits with a lip. Seems like this one could accidently get hit with a hand motion and be flung clear across the room hot and hurt someone…lol. However the pot itself is light but for $7 its worth it for certain things you might want to make and do want to spend a fortune on a large pot. It works just fine for us. My mother saw mine and told me she had bought the same exact one when my brother and nephew came into town to make spaghetti. Because I have a small kitchen I actually store mine on top of my cabinets and it looks cute and does not take up valuable everyday room in my only pots and pans cabinet.
