1. Search “Cheap Haircuts Near Me” (and check reviews!)
Start with a quick local search on Google or Yelp. Look for salons, chain haircut shops, or cosmetology schools offering discounted services! Don’t forget to read the reviews, too. Cheap doesn’t have to mean bad!

2. Visit Cosmetology or Barber Schools
Beauty schools are a hidden gem! Students (who are supervised by licensed instructors) often offer haircuts for a fraction of the cost. Sometimes as low as $5 or $10! A quick Google search like “cosmetology school near me haircuts” can pull up some solid local options. I’ve done this several times, myself, and have always loved the results (especially for the cost!)

3. Try Chain Salons with Everyday Low Prices
Chains like Great Clips, Supercuts, and Sport Clips regularly offer affordable haircuts, especially for kids, seniors, or during promotional periods! My boys and hubby get their’s done at these chains often and they always look great!

Here are some current average prices:

Great Clips: Around $15-$19 for adults
Supercuts: Varies by location but often $18-$22
Sport Clips: Usually $20-$25 but often includes extra services like a shampoo or neck massage

How to Get Coupons for Cheap Haircuts

1. Sign Up for Emails & Loyalty Programs
Brands like Great Clips and Supercuts often email new subscribers $2-$5 off coupons just for signing up! Once you’re on their list, you’ll also be notified of seasonal promotions and flash sales. Take advantage of them when you can!!

2. Use Coupon Apps & Deal Sites
Keep checking sites like:

Groupon
Coupons.com
Local deal apps like Nextdoor or Facebook Marketplace

You’ll often find limited-time haircut coupons, BOGO deals, and even free haircut promos during certain events (like back-to-school or military appreciation days)!

3. Look for Local Facebook Groups
Your town’s buy/sell or Community group can be a GOLDMINE for recommendations and unadvertised deals at smaller salons or mobile hairstylists! I found my current stylist this way AND my own neighbors were able to give me reputable reviews on-the-spot. This is probably my favorite way to source anything service-related!

Tips to Save Even More on Haircuts

Skip the wash: Ask for a dry cut if your hair is clean! Some places charge extra for shampoo.
Go mid-week: Prices are sometimes cheaper Tuesday through Thursday compared to the weekend.
DIY minor trims: Between salon visits, learn how to trim your own bangs or ends with online tutorials!
Refer a friend: Some stylists and salons offer a discount when you refer someone new. Just ask!

There are SO MANY ways to save on haircuts without giving up quality, especially if you’re willing to do a little digging!
