Panda Express Cantonese BBQ Brisket

Inspired by Cantonese BBQ char siu, the new entree features slow-cooked brisket hand-cut into thick, bite-sized portions, then flame-seared in a new char siu-style sauce. The sauce is made with soy sauce, sugar, onion, garlic, spicy fermented soybean paste, mirin, paprika, and sesame oil for a “rich, umami-packed flavor” featuring “sweet, tangy notes of BBQ” and “aromatic Chinese spices.” The chain suggests pairing it with steamed white rice.

Panda Express’ BBQ Brisket will be available through August 10, 2026, while supplies last. It will carry a “super-premium” pricing (an upcharge of $1.95 for Bowls, Plates, and Bigger Plates; and an additional $5.85 per entree for Family Meals) and is the chain’s first time offering brisket.

A 5.61-oz (about 6-7 slices of brisket) serving contains about 44 grams of protein and 410 calories.
